Leading Sharia-compliant Islamic Bank Al-Arafah Islami Bank has donated taka 8 (eight) lakh to Dhaka National Medical College under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. The donation was made for the purchase of surgical medical equipment for the college’s urology department and dental chairs for the dental unit.
Managing Director (Acting) Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan handed over the check to the college’s Principal Professor Dr. Md. Shamsur Rahman at a ceremony organized at the National Medical College on Monday, December 15.
Vice Principal of the College Dr. Md. Afzal Hossain, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Md. Abdullah Al Mamun, Senior Executive Vice President Md. Idris Ali, Executive Vice President Jalal Ahmed and top executives of both institutions were present at the event.
