The 136th meeting of the Shariah Supervisory Committee of Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC was held recently in the Board Room of the bank’s head office. Professor Dr. Abu Noman Md. Rafiqur Rahman, Chairman of the Shariah Supervisory Committee, presided over the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Shariah Supervisory Committee Members Mufti Dr. Md. Anwar Hossain Mulla, Dr. Muhammad Ruhul Amin Rabbani, Professor Dr. Hafiz Mujtaba Reza Ahmad and Mufti Abul Kashem Mohammad Fazlul Haque. Managing Director Mohd. Rafat Ulla Khan and EVP & Acting Secretary of the Shariah Supervisory Committee Md. Kabir Ahmad were also present.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding the Product Processing Guidelines (PPG) of various investment products and the Shariah inspection reports. In addition, emphasis was placed on conducting bank activities in strict compliance with Shariah principles and ensuring Shariah-compliant banking services for customers.
