The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) awarded the Golden Award to Agrani Bank PLC for presenting the best annual report in 2022.

On Monday, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi handed over the award to Agrani Bank Chairman of the Agrani Bank Board of Directors Zayed Bakht as the chief guest in a ceremony organized at the Sonargaon Hotel in the capital. Agrani Bank Director Shahadat Hossain, Managing Director and CEO Murshedul Kabir, Deputy Managing Director Shyamal Krishna Saha, and General Manager Mohammad Didarul Islam were present at that time.

State Minister for Planning Shamsul Alam was present as a special guest on the occasion. Commerce Ministry Senior Secretary Tapan Kanti Ghosh, Economic Relations Department Senior Secretary Sharifa Khan, Microcredit Regulatory Authority Executive Vice President Fauciulla, RCPAR-ICAB President Mohammad Humayun Kabir, ICAB President Moniruzzaman, FRC Chairman Hamidullah Bhayan, and Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission Commissioner Mizanur Rahman, along with prominent bankers, industrialists, businessmen, and economists, were also present as guests.
