Tk 145.8 million (Tk 14 crore 58 lakh) was recovered from default and categorized debts at the managers’ conference of Agrani Bank PLC’s Chattogram Circle, which brought together regional and branch heads. On Saturday, November 1, 2025, the conference took place in Chattogram, and the chief guest was Managing Director Md. Anwarul Islam.

During the event, the Managing Director expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Chattogram Circle and gave directives to sustain the momentum in loan recovery, reduce expected credit losses, expand CMSME loan disbursement, boost deposit collection, increase remittance inflow, and effectively implement and monitor Agrani Bank’s 100-day special action plan.

Deputy Managing Directors Tahmina Akhter and Md. Abul Bashar were present as special guests. The meeting was presided over by General Manager Mostak Ahmed of the Chattogram Circle and attended by circle executives, regional heads, branch managers, and customers from various branches.
