State-owned Agrani Bank PLC. received the Remittance Award 2024 for collecting a significant amount of foreign remittance in the banking sector for the fiscal year 2023-2024. On Wednesday, December 18, at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital, Agrani Bank’s Chief Executive Officer Md. Anwarul Islam received the award from the Chief Guest, Dr. Asif Nazrul, Adviser to the Ministry of Law and the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment. The event was organized by the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment, where the special guest was Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan, Adviser to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development, and Cooperatives.
