B.Mirror Desk : Agrani Bank PLC organized a day-long workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Agrani Bank Training Institute.
The workshop was organized in line with the directives of the Cyber Security Unit of Bangladesh Bank, focusing on the safe and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence in banks and financial institutions, with particular emphasis on AI Agent Governance, security, and control.
The workshop was attended by Parshum/Parsom Alam, Managing Director (Current Charge) of Agrani Bank PLC, Mohammad Abul Bashar and Rubana Parveen, Deputy Managing Directors of the bank, as well as General Managers, Deputy General Managers and Assistant General Managers from the bank’s Head Office.
Mohammad Imdadul Islam, AI Trainer & Consultant at ProSkill Academy, conducted the session. He discussed the growing importance of AI in the banking sector, its potential applications, associated risks, security considerations, and future implications.
The workshop aimed to enhance the participants’ understanding of emerging AI technologies and promote their safe, controlled and responsible adoption within the banking sector.
