A business conference took place with all regional heads, corporate branch heads, and branch managers within the circle to discuss the business advancement of Agrani Bank PLC’s Barisal Circle for 2025 and to enhance loan recovery efforts.

The Managing Director and CEO of Agrani Bank, Md. Anwarul Islam, attended as the chief guest at this conference, which was held at the BDS Club in Barisal on Friday, August 15, 2025. Deputy Managing Director Rubana Parveen, General Manager (Audit) Md. Ikhtiar Uddin, and General Manager (Administration) Md. Jalal Uddin also addressed the attendees during the conference.

The session was chaired by the General Manager of Barisal Circle, Md. Zahid Iqbal. During the event, Managing Director and CEO Md. Anwarul Islam provided guidance on CMSME loan distribution, deposit collection, remittance collection, boosting import-export activities, and case resolution, placing particular emphasis on the recovery of classified loans. He also instructed the relevant regions, corporate branch heads, and managers to meet the targets for all business indicators by 2025.
