An exchange meeting and “Meet the Borrower” session was held in Rangpur with the regional and branch heads of Agrani Bank PLC’s Rangpur Circle to review the implementation and progress of the bank’s 100-Day Special Action Plan.

The event took place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, with Md. Anowarul Islam, Managing Director of Agrani Bank, attending as the chief guest. During the meeting, a total of Tk 12.95 crore in classified loans was recovered from 164 customers across 68 branches on the spot.

In his speech, Managing Director Anowarul Islam emphasized the importance of effectively implementing the 100-day plan, with a special focus on recovering classified loans. He also gave clear directives on disbursing CMSME loans, mobilizing deposits, and increasing remittance collection.

The meeting was presided over by Sudhir Ranjan Biswas, General Manager of Rangpur Circle. Deputy Managing Director Tahmina Akhtar was present as the special guest. Executives, regional and branch managers under the Rangpur Circle, as well as customers from various branches, were also in attendance.
