Agent Banking Meeting of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Held in Noakhali

Al-Arafah Islami Bank, the country’s leading Sharia-compliant bank, has organized a meeting and a courtyard meeting for the owners of a total of 54 agent outlets, 6 link branch managers, outlet managers and customers under the greater Noakhali district. Deputy Managing Director of the bank Mohammad Aminul Islam Bhuiyan was present as the chief guest at the event. Vice President Mohammad Momtazul Haque was also present as special guest.

In the day-long program, chaired by Feni Branch Manager Mahmudur Rahman Chowdhury, the bank’s agents, branch managers and outlet managers discussed in detail various problems, ways to solve them, increase deposits, techniques and ensure customer service.

In his speech at the program, the chief guest said that Al-Arafah Islami Bank is further strengthening its agent banking activities to provide modern and Sharia-compliant banking services to the doorsteps of the marginalized groups of the country. He called upon agents, branch managers and outlet managers to work together to increase deposits, improve customer service and accelerate financial inclusion activities. At the same time, he made customers aware of the need to come to the agent and make transactions through fingerprints and made everyone aware of receiving auto-generated receipts and checking SMS to confirm.

At the end of the meeting, the participants pledged to work together to further accelerate agent banking activities through mutual cooperation and coordination, bring the marginalized groups of the country under the ambit of banking services and provide uninterrupted and quality services.
