Agent banking meeting of AIBL Bank held in Cox’s Bazar

Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC, one of the leading Shariah-based banks in the country, organized an agent banking exchange meeting and courtyard meeting with agents, branch managers, and outlet managers of Cox’s Bazar district. Deputy Managing Director Mohammad Aminul Islam Bhuiyan attended the program as the Chief Guest, while Mohammad Momtazul Haque, Vice President of the Bank, was present as the Special Guest.

The day-long program was presided over by Mohammad Faridul Alam, Manager of Cox’s Bazar Branch. During the event, agents, branch managers, and outlet managers of the bank discussed various operational challenges, possible solutions, deposit growth strategies, business development techniques, and ways to ensure improved customer service.

In his speech, the Chief Guest stated that Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC is strengthening its agent banking activities to deliver modern and Shariah-compliant banking services to the doorsteps of marginal communities across the country. He urged agents, branch managers, and outlet managers to work in coordination to increase deposits, improve customer service, and accelerate financial inclusion initiatives.

At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed their commitment to working collaboratively to make agent banking activities more dynamic, bring more marginal people under the banking network, and ensure uninterrupted and quality banking services.
