AB Bank PLC. has disbursed agricultural loans to marginal farmers in Sadar Upazila, Sirajganj.

The loans were disbursed among the farmers at a program held at Sirajganj Upazila Parisad Auditorium with a view to developing the agricultural sector and strengthening food security.

Mr. Iftekhar Enam Awal, Deputy Managing Director, AB Bank presided over the program while Mr. Z. M. Babar Khan, Additional Managing Director attended the program as the Chief Guest.

Mr. Md. Mamun Khan, Upazila Nirbahi Officer, Sirajganj Sadar, Mr. Joynal Abedin, Additional Director, Agricultural Credit Department-2, Head Office, Bangladesh Bank, Mr.  Shantanu Biswas, Joint Director, Agricultural Credit Department-1, Head Office, Bangladesh Bank and Mr. S. M. Nasim Hossain, Upazila Agriculture Officer were present as Special Guests.

Senior officials of the Bank and local dignitaries were also present at the event.
