After the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government, the stock market started to recover. A big jump in the stock market index is seen every day. In the last three working days, the main stock market Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) index increased by 695 points. In the previous two days, Tuesday and Wednesday, the DSE index increased by 390 points. And today Thursday increased by 305 points.
According to DSE and Lankabangla Analysis Portal sources, 364 or 91.46 percent of companies have increased their prices on DSE today. Among them, the index increased by more than 125 points due to the increase in the share price of 10 companies. The remaining 264 institutions added 180 points to the index.
The 10 companies that added 125 points to the index are British American Tobacco, BRAC Bank, Square Pharma, Islami Bank, Grameenphone, Beacon Pharma, Citibank, National Bank, Lafarge Holcim, and Olympic Industries Limited.
In this, British American Tobacco, BRAC Bank, Square Pharma, Islami Bank, and Grameenphone – these 5 companies’ share prices increased by 90 points.
