On Saturday, April 26, at 10 am, a colorful rally against drugs was organized by the Swadhin Bangla Anti-Drug Welfare Society. The event was organized with the overall support of the Narcotics Control Department and the Assistant Director of Dhaka Metro South, Mr. Mohammad Abdul Hamid, inaugurated the colorful rally program with 30 pickup vans and motor vehicles. The rally started from Kajla intersection and went through Demra, Rampura, Banasree, Gulshan 1, Banani 2, Tejgaon, and Dhaka Metro North declared the rally over. They held a road rally in front of various drug bars. Selim Nizami, the general secretary of the Swadhin Bangla Anti-Drug Welfare Society, Bimal Sarkar, the president of the metropolitan committee, Shamim Ahmed Majumder, the honorable president of the newly formed Jatrabari committee, and Mukti Sakibul Islam Qasemi, spoke at the time. The speakers said that all illegal liquor bars and shisha bars must be closed within 24 hours. If they are not closed, stricter measures will be taken in the future. Will you go to the star or not?
