SIB PLC achieved special recognition and certificate as one of the highest taxpayer in the banking category from the NBR

The National Board of Revenue’s Large Taxpayer Unit (LTU) organized the “Best Taxpayer and special recognition” ceremony on Wednesday at the office of the National Board of Revenue at Segunbagicha in the capital.

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC won special recognition and certificate in banking category as one of the highest taxpayers in the financial year 2022-2023, reads a press release. 

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Mohammed Younus received the special recognition and certificate from Syed Abu Daud, Member of Tax Administration and Human Resource Management Department of the National Board of Revenue. 

Among others the Tax Commissioner of Large Taxpayer Unit (LTU) of National Board of Revenue Iqbal Bahar, the Managing Director (CC) of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Abdul Aziz and the CFO of the bank Jafar Sadeq, FCA were present on the occasion.
