Social Islami Bank distributes agricultural finance to salt cultivators at Cox’s Bazar

Social Islami Bank distributed agricultural finance at a 4% profit rate among 100 salt cultivators of Eidgaon, Cox’s Bazar recently, reads a press release.

Zafar Alam, Managing Director & CEO of the Bank, was present as chief guest at the event and distributed finance among the salt farmers. 

Subal Chakma, UNO of Eidgaon Upazila, was present as special guest. Sayed Sohel, Zonal Head of Chattogram Zone, Sadat Ahmad Khan, Head of SME & AFD, Moniruzzaman, Head of Marketing & Brand Communication Division, Saifuddin Khaled, Manager of Cox’s Bazar Branch, Mamon Rajib, Manager of Eidgaon Branch, S.M. Mashekur Rahman, Manager of Court Bazar Branch, local dignitaries and salt cultivators were also present on the occasion.

Zafar Alam, MD & CEO, mentioned that Social Islami Bank is now a bank of mass people and we always emphasize on agri-investment. He also said that we have been distributing agri-investment in different parts of the country and we will employ our full effort to extend our activities for achieving food sufficiency.
