State Minister for Chittagong Hill Tracts Kujendra Lal Tripura paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at his shrine at Tungipara in Gopalganj on Saturday. He also expressed his gratitude to the hill people.
State Minister for Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) Kujendra Lal Tripura has vowed to work for the betterment of the fate of all in harmony with all religions, castes and ethnic groups of the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
Kujendra Lal Tripura vowed to work for the happiness and well-being of the hill people to build Sonar Bangla as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Smart Bangladesh declared by his worthy daughter Sheikh Hasina.
Newly appointed minister said, Awami League formed the government after winning majority of the seats through direct votes of the people in the 12th parliamentary elections. I extend my heartfelt thanks to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on her election as the prime minister for the fifth time. I am grateful to him on behalf of Khagrachari.
Expressing gratitude to the people of Khagrachari, State Minister for Hill Tracts Kujendra Lal stated, “The hill people have elected me with the mandate of voting to continue the trend of peace, harmony and development of the hill people.”
“I am expressing my firm conviction to continue to work with the mainstream of Bangladesh to materialize the dreams of the hill people. At the same time, I pledge to keep an eye on the equitable distribution of the hill people,” he added.
State Minister for Chittagong Hill Tracts Kujendra Lal Tripura said that he is always trying to reach the CHT to a unique level with the current of development of Bangladesh.
