Community Bank has extended financial assistance to meritorious students of the Banking and Insurance Department at the University of Dhaka. The bank allocated a total of Tk 18 lakh to selected students as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

An event to mark this initiative took place at the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka, on Saturday. During the ceremony, Masihul Huq Chowdhury, MD and Chief Executive Officer of Community Bank Bangladesh Limited, presented pay orders to the selected students. The pay order was handed over to Hasina Sheykh, Professor and Chairman, Department of Banking and Insurance, FBS.

The event was attended by Mohammad Abdul Qaium Khan, Saiful Alam, Rafiqul Islam, Abu Taleb, Main Uddin, Shahidul Islam Zahid, Abdullah Al Mahmud, Naheed Rabbani, and other respected faculty members of the Department on behalf of the University of Dhaka.
