7th International Conference on Renewable Energy held at CUET

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) concluded its three-day-long “7th International Conference on Mechanical Engineering and Renewable Energy”. The closing ceremony, held in the council room of the university’s administrative building, was attended by CUET Vice-Chancellor Mohammad Rafiqul Alam as the chief guest.

The conference attracted the participation of over three hundred mechanical engineering professionals, including teachers, researchers, scientists, and entrepreneurs from 11 countries such as America, Australia, India, Norway, Russia, the United Kingdom, and Malaysia.

Throughout the three-day event, a total of 134 papers were presented in various sessions, including one plenary session, eight keynote speeches, six invited speeches, and 14 technical sessions. Special guests at the closing ceremony included Dean of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty Sheikh Mohammad Humayun Kabir and Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department Mohammad Mizanur Rahman.

The program was presided over by Professor Jamal Uddin Ahmed, the Technical Co-Chair of the Conference. The event witnessed the participation of many other notable figures in the field.
