Eastern Lubricants Blenders PLC has signed an agreement with Premier Petroleum Products and Lubricants Limited (PPPPLL), the authorized importer and distributor of the US-based Ergon brand transformer oil in Bangladesh, to jointly market and distribute the product across the country.
The company disclosed the development in a press release on Thursday.
Under the agreement, Eastern Lubricants aims to expand its business by collaborating with PPPPLL to sell and distribute Ergon transformer oil to various government institutions in Bangladesh.
The two companies will work jointly and provide mutual support in the marketing and distribution of the US-made transformer oil. The agreement will initially remain valid for one year, according to the statement.
Eastern Lubricants said the partnership is part of its strategy to broaden its business operations and strengthen its presence in the country’s industrial lubricants and transformer oil market.
