Khaled becomes CIP again

BM Desk: S M Khaled, one of the pioneers of high-value apparel exports from Bangladesh, has been awarded CIP status again by the government. He received this honour from Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi at a ceremony in the city recently. Tapan Kanti Ghosh, senior secretary of the Ministry presided over the ceremony with the president of the FBCCI, Md Jasim Uddin as a special guest there.
Khaled is the founder and managing director of Snowtex Group, which employs more than 19,000 workers and staff. This company earned fame by making designed outerwear for top global brands like G Star, Levies, Natica, Timberland, Jack and Jones, Marks & Spencer, Camel Active, Napapijei and Columbia Sportswear.
