Business Review Meeting Held with Participation of SIBL Branches in Dhaka and Surrounding Regions under Sammillito Islami bank PLC.

Social Islami Bank PLC (SIBL), operating under Sammilito Islami Bank PLC, held a Business Review Meeting on 27 June, 2026 at the Head Office of Social Islami Bank PLC with participation from 23 branches located in Dhaka and its surrounding regions. The meeting was attended by the Bank’s Administrator and Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, Mr. Md. Abul Bashar, as the Chief Guest. Associate Administrators Mr. Asadul Mustafa, Dr. Mohammad Bozlul Karim and Ms. Rowson Akter were also present at the event. Additionally, heads of various departments from the head office, as well as Managers, Operation Managers and Investment Officers of the concerned branches participated in the meeting. Discussions focused on recovery of classified investments, expansion of SME, agricultural and microfinance investments, growth in import-export and other non-funded businesses and enhancement of remittance and deposit mobilization. Branches were instructed to take necessary legal measures to expedite recovery from classified investments and effectively manage ongoing cases. The management reaffirmed its commitment to supporting sustainable business growth and improving asset quality.
