Orientation training program held at Al-Arafah Islami Bank

A day-long Orientation Training Program for newly recruited executives and officers of Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC was held at the Bank’s Al-Arafah Islami Bank Training Institute (AIBTI) on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan inaugurated the program virtually as the chief guest.

In his speech as the chief guest, he said that it is very important to develop skilled, ethical and customer-centric bankers to face the challenges of the changing and technology-based financial sector. He urged the participants to follow the basic ideals of Islamic banking, maintain the highest integrity and professionalism, and contribute to the progress of the institution by providing innovative and quality banking services.

The program was presided over by AIBTI Principal and Senior Executive Vice President Md. Abdur Rahim Duary. The workshop was attended by Senior Assistant Vice President Md. Mazharul Alam, Assistant Vice President Jasim Uddin, Principal Officer Md. Shamim and senior officials were present. 45 newly appointed executives and officers participated in the training program. The training discussed various important topics including Islamic banking activities, customer relationship management, professional ethics, compliance, prevention of money laundering, digital banking and professional skill development.
