B Mirror Report: Trading activities on the country’s stock markets will continue as usual today, Saturday (May 23), ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha holidays. However, all trading and official operations will remain suspended for seven consecutive days from May 25 to May 31 due to the Eid vacation.
The information was confirmed by both the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE).
According to the DSE, office operations and trading activities will continue on Saturday and Sunday (May 23–24) following the regular schedule, in line with the government’s decision declaring the days as normal working days.
The exchange also stated that all types of office and trading activities will remain closed from Monday, May 25, to Sunday, May 31, in observance of Eid-ul-Azha holidays.
Regular office and trading operations will resume on Monday, June 1, following the usual schedule.
