Pubali Bank inaugurates its 1000th ATM/CRM Booth at the University of Dhaka

Continuing its long-standing tradition in the banking sector, strong corporate governance, and commitment to technology-driven services, Pubali Bank PLC has inaugurated its 1000th ATM/CRM booth at the Registrar Building of the University of Dhaka on 21 April 2026.

This newly installed ATM/CRM booth will enable customers to avail a wide range of automated banking services, including cash withdrawal and cash deposit, ensuring a modern, convenient, and time-efficient banking experience.

The booth was formally inaugurated by Professor Dr. A. B. M. Obaidul Islam, Vice Chancellor of the University of Dhaka, as the Chief Guest. Mohammad Ali, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Pubali Bank PLC, was present at the event as the Guest of Honour. Professor Dr. Sayema Haque Bidisha, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration), University of Dhaka, attended the program as Special Guest. The event was presided over by Professor M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, PhD, Treasurer of the University of Dhaka.

Among others, Fatema Binte Mustafa, Estate Manager of the University of Dhaka; Ashim Kumar Roy, General Manager & Head of Card Operation Division, Pubali Bank PLC; Abu Laich Md. Samsujjaman, General Manager & Regional Head of Dhaka Central Region; and Mst. Masuma Khatun, Deputy General Manager of Shahbag Avenue Branch, were also present at the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Professor Dr. A.B.M. Obaidul Islam said,
Expansion of digital banking services is an essential requirement of the present time. This initiative of Pubali Bank PLC will facilitate students, teachers, and all stakeholders of the university community with easy, fast, and secure financial services, and will play an important role in promoting digital transactions.
