B Mirror Report: The nation’s capital market will resume trading on Tuesday, March 24, following a seven-day break for Shab-e-Qadr and Eid-ul-Fitr. Both the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) and the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) will resume regular operations.
Earlier, trading and official activities at both stock exchanges remained closed from March 17 to March 23 due to the holidays. The authorities have stated that, following the end of Ramadan and Eid holidays, offices will operate on regular schedules.
According to the standard timetable, DSE and CSE offices will run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, while trading will take place from 10:00 am to 2:20 pm, followed by a 10-minute post-closing session.
It is worth noting that during Ramadan, trading was conducted on a shortened schedule from 10:00 am to 1:40 pm, while office hours were from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.
