Pubali bank drives cashless bangladesh with lalmatia rally

With the slogan of “লেনদেন হচ্ছে ক্যাশলেস এগিয়ে যাচ্ছে বাংলাদেশ”, Pubali Bank PLC. initiated cashless Lalmatia Rally, inauguration of Bangla QR code and exchange of views held on behalf of the bank in Lalmatia, Dhaka with the aim of making the cashless transaction system in Bangladesh more dynamic and increasing public awareness. Bangladesh Bank Executive Director and Spokesperson Arif Hossain Khan was present as Chief Guest at the exchange of views meeting. Pubali Bank Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Ali was present as Guest of Honour. Md. Shahnewaz Khan, Deputy Managing Director of the bank was present as Special Guest. General Manager of the Bank’s Head Office Md. Faizul Hoque Sharif, Regional Head and General Manager of Dhaka North Region AKM Abdur Raqib, Deputy General Manager and Head of Alternative Delivery Channel Division Md. Rabiul Alam, President of Lalmatia C-Block Jame Mosque and Madrasa Complex Md. Alamgir, along with executives from Bank’s Head Office and local dignitaries were also present on the occasion.

Executive Director and Spokesperson of Bangladesh Bank Arif Hossain Khan said that Bangladesh Bank is always working to expand the modern technology-based banking system. When institutions like Pubali Bank PLC. go to the field level and motivate customers and the general public about digital and cashless transactions, it further strengthens the overall economic progress of the country. Not only does the digital transaction system make financial activities faster and easier, it also ensures transparency and accountability.

Managing Director and CEO of Pubali Bank, Mohammad Ali, said that digital and cashless transactions not only save time and cost, but also play an important role in building a transparent and secure financial system. He discussed the importance of cashless transaction system, digital banking facilities, secure financial transactions and the role of modern banking system in building Smart Bangladesh.
