B Mirror Report: Beginning on Sunday, February 8, registered Hajj pilgrims under both public and private arrangements will be able to apply for visas via Saudi Arabia’s Nusuk Masar website. The deadline for applying for a visa is March 20.
According to a recent press release signed by Mohammad Safiuzzaman Bhuiya, Deputy Secretary of the Hajj-1 Wing at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, medical screening for pilgrims planning to perform Hajj in 2026 is currently being conducted at government hospitals nationwide.
In line with Saudi authorities’ requirements, all pilgrims must undergo health examinations and receive the required vaccinations to obtain a fitness certificate, which is compulsory for participation in Hajj, UNB reports.
Every registered pilgrim including Bangladeshi expatriates must secure the fitness certificate by March 20 after completing medical checks and vaccinations at designated centres. Visa applications through the Nusuk Masar system will only be accepted after the certificate is obtained.
The notice has been issued in the public interest with the approval of the competent authority.
