The publicly listed company Dhaka Electric Supply Company Limited has published its unaudited financial report for the second quarter (October 2025–December 2025) ended on December 31, 2025. Compared to the same period of the previous year, the company’s earnings per share increased by 22.72 percent during the reported quarter.
The financial report for the second quarter of the current fiscal year was reviewed and approved at a meeting of the company’s Board of Directors held on Wednesday (January 28), after which it was released. This information was confirmed by sources at the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).
According to the sources, the company recorded earnings per share (EPS) of Tk 0.81 in the second quarter of the current fiscal year. In the same period last year, EPS was Tk 0.66.
For the first two quarters of the fiscal year combined, that is over six months (July 2025–December 2025), the company achieved earnings per share of Tk 2.28. In the corresponding period of the previous year, the company incurred a loss of Tk 0.15 per share.
During the period under review, the company’s cash flow per share was Tk 7.77, compared to Tk 2.50 in the same period last year. As of December 31, 2025, the company’s net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at Tk 39.76.
