The 5th Prime Bank Cup Golf Tournament 2026 Held at Cumilla

The three-day 5th Prime Bank Cup Golf Tournament 2026 was held with great enthusiasm from 8–10 January 2026 at the Mainamati Golf and Country Club, Cumilla Cantonment.

The tournament was inaugurated by Major General Md. Nazim-ud-Daula, SPP, ndc, psc, PhD, President of Mainamati Golf and Country Club, who attended the opening ceremony as the chief guest. Mafiz Ahmed Bhuiyan, Director of Prime Bank PLC. was present at inaugural session.

The closing ceremony was attended by Brigadier General Md. Malek Hossain, ndc, psc, Chairman, Handicap and Entertainment Committee; Brigadier General Syed Ashiqur Rahman, SPP, PBGM, nwc, psc, Chairman, Tournament Committee; and Lieutenant Colonel Beig Sabbir Ahmed, psc, Member Secretary. From Prime Bank PLC. Deputy Managing Director M. Nazeem A. Choudhury and Mamur Ahmed, SEVP & head of distribution network, were also present at the closing ceremony.

The tournament featured competitions in three categories- Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior Golfers. A total of approximately 132 golfers participated in the event, making it a vibrant and competitive sporting occasion.

The 5th Prime Bank New Year Cup Golf Tournament 2026 successfully promoted sportsmanship and camaraderie among golfers while reinforcing the growing popularity of golf in the region.
