Ananda Kumar Swar, Khulna Correspondent:  A farewell reception for recently retired Chief Tax Assessor of Khulna City Corporation (KCC), Sheikh Hafizur Rahman, and Tax Assessor Khan Solaiman Hossain was held on Monday afternoon at the Shaheed Altaf Auditorium of the City Hall.

The farewell ceremony was organized by the Revenue Department of KCC, where the Chief Executive Officer, Rajib Ahmed, attended as the chief guest. In his address, he wished both retirees good health and long life and presented them with farewell gifts.

Presided over by KCC’s Chief Revenue Officer Rahima Sultana Bushra, the program featured speeches recalling the long and dedicated service lives of the departing colleagues. Speakers included Secretary Ariful Islam, Chief Engineer Mashiuzzaman Khan, Chief Waste Management Officer and Executive Magistrate Kohinur Jahan, Chief Health Officer Dr. Sharif Shammiul Islam, Administrative Officer Molla Maruf Rashid, Estate Officer Gazi Salauddin, Market Superintendent Sheikh Shafiqul Hasan Didar, License Officers Khan Habibur Rahman and Md. Delwar Hossain, Collector of Taxes Kazi Md. Imrul Hasan, Tax Assessor Md. Nazmul Haque Mukul, Sub-Assistant Engineer Md. Mostafizur Rahman Mithu, and Assistant Conservancy Officer Md. Abdur Rakib, among others.

The event was conducted by Senior License Officer Md. Moniruzzaman Rahim. Officers and employees from all levels of KCC were present at the ceremony.
