DSE P/E Ratio Rises 2% in Past Week

B Mirror Report: The overall price-earnings (P/E) ratio of the country’s premier stock market, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), increased in the past week (January 4–8). During this period, the DSE’s P/E ratio rose by 2 percent.

This information was revealed in the DSE’s weekly market review.

According to the data, the DSE’s P/E ratio stood at 8.66 points at the beginning of the week, while it rose to 8.82 points by the end of the week. As a result, the DSE’s P/E ratio increased by 0.16 points, or 2 percent, over the week.
