DSE Index Falls as 227 Stocks Decline

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the nation’s primary stock market, saw a decline in the price index after the end of trading on the fourth working day of the week. 227 companies saw a decrease in their share prices at the same time. Nevertheless, the entire transaction amount was more than Tk 533 crore.

The information was obtained from the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).

According to the data, on Wednesday (10 December), the DSE’s main index, DSEX, dropped by 21.05 points, bringing it down to 4,941 points.

In addition, the DSES index fell by 7.50 points to 1,031 points, while the DS-30 index decreased by 8.67 points to 1,899 points.

Today, shares and units worth Tk 533.90 crore were traded on the DSE. In the previous working day, the trading volume was Tk 458.03 crore.

A total of 394 companies’ shares and units were traded on the DSE. Among the participating companies, prices increased for 114, while 227 saw price declines, and 53 remained unchanged.
