Trading on the nation’s primary capital market, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), concluded with an increase in its key index on Tuesday, November 18, the third working day of the week. The price of 320 stocks rose concurrently, and the overall trading value increased as well.
According to DSE sources, the benchmark DSEX index rose by 71.92 points, reaching 4,846 points. Meanwhile, the DSES index increased by 17.24 points to 1,017, and the DS-30 index gained 19.86 points, closing at 1,889.
Trading value on the DSE reached Tk 475.53 crore, up from Tk 348.05 crore on the previous business day. Of the companies traded, 320 saw share prices increase, 38 saw declines, and 19 companies’ prices remained unchanged.
