Mrinal Kanti Tangail Correspondent: The Tangail district administration has taken a completely unique initiative to ensure that children in primary schools in marginal areas have fun and enjoy their education. The journey of setting up playgrounds, i.e. mini children’s parks, in 160 school premises for children from marginalized communities in 12 upazilas of the district has begun.

Deputy Commissioner Sharifa Haque inaugurated the mini park at Khagjana Government Primary School in Kortia Union of Sadar Upazila on Tuesday afternoon, October 21.

District administration officials, local people and parents were amazed to see the joy and excitement of the children on the rides set up in the school premises. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Sanjay Kumar Mahanta, Tangail Municipality Chief Executive Officer Anisur Rahman, Tangail Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Shahin Mia, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Dewan Asif Pele, District Primary Education Officer Md. Sahab Uddin, District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer Md. Aktaruzzaman were present at the inaugural ceremony.
