Shahjalal Islami Bank Hosts Annual Risk Management Conference 2025

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC (SJIBPLC) organized “Annual Risk Management Conference-2025” on 27th September 2025 through Hybrid Platform. The Conference was presided over by the Managing Director of the Bank Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed while the Director, Department of Off-Site Supervision of Bangladesh Bank Mr. A.N.M. Moinul Kabir was present as chief guest in the conference. The Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank & member of Risk Management Committee (RMC) Mr. Mohammed Younus and the Independent Director of the Bank Mr. Md. Reazul Karim were also present in the meeting as special guest. The Joint Director of Department of Off-Site Supervision of Bangladesh Bank Ms. Mahmuda Haque and the Deputy Director Mr. Robin Chandra Paul were also present in the conference and took part in the discussion. In the Hybrid system meeting, the speakers discussed on overall Risk Profile of the Bank, Risk Management Framework, Assessment of the Risk Management in the Bank, Investment Risk Management, Money Laundering Risk, Core Risks Management and upcoming challenges of the Bank.

Among others the Additional Managing Director of the Bank Mr. Imtiaz U. Ahmed and the Deputy Managing Director & CRO Mr. M. M. Saiful Islam were present in the Conference. Apart from this, more than one thousand participants including the Head of different Divisions & Executives from the Corporate Head Office, the Branch Managers of 141 Branches and 05 Sub-Branches as well as the Executives and the Officers from Branches were participated in the conference. The EVP of Risk Management Division of the Bank Mr. Mohammed Abu Shayem moderated the program.
