Janata Bank PLC’s Chittagong Divisional Half-Yearly Business Branch Managers Conference was held at a local hotel on Thursday, September 25. The conference was attended by the bank’s Chairman, Muhd Fazlur Rahman, as the chief guest. The bank’s Managing Director, Md. Mujibur Rahman and Deputy Managing Director, Md. Golam Mortuza were present as special guests. The conference was held under the chairmanship of General Manager-in-charge of Chittagong Divisional Office, Mohiuddin Mohammad Aurangzeb, and concerned executives and branch managers under the divisional office participated in the conference. Before the conference, Managing Director, Md. Mujibur Rahman inaugurated a workshop on financial literacy and conducted a session at Janata Bank Regional Staff College-Chittagong.

At the conference, the bank’s chairman, Muhd Fazlur Rahman, gave instructions to distribute loans to good customers after checking whether the customer has the mentality to repay the loan before giving the loan. In addition, the bank’s managing director, Md. Mujibur Rahman, advised to invest the deposits collected from the areas there.
