BCI Announces Upcoming Automobiles and Agro-machinery Fair 2025

BM Desk: The Bangladesh Chamber of Industries (BCI) has officially announced the upcoming “Automobiles and Agro-machinery Fair, 2025 – Road to Made in Bangladesh,” scheduled to take place on September 20 and 21, 2025. The announcement was made during a press conference held at the BCI headquarters, where BCI President Mr. Anwar-ul Alam Chowdhury (Parvez) addressed the media.

In his remarks, Mr. Chowdhury emphasized BCI’s role as the only national chamber representing both private and public industrial sectors in Bangladesh. He highlighted the organization’s ongoing commitment to advocating for the challenges faced by the country’s manufacturing industries, particularly the micro and small-scale enterprises, at the highest levels of government policy-making.

Mr. Chowdhury also underscored the importance of youth empowerment in Bangladesh, noting that the country has a youthful population of over 80 million people with an average age of 26. He stressed that the development of the manufacturing sector is crucial for creating employment opportunities and fostering domestic production and consumption.

The fair is being organized by BCI in collaboration with the Bangladesh Automobiles Assemblers and Manufacturers Association and the Agriculture Machinery Manufacturers Association of Bangladesh. It aims to showcase innovations and capabilities in the automobile and agro-machinery sectors, promoting the vision of a self-reliant industrial future under the “Made in Bangladesh” banner.

The two-day event will be held on the top floor of the BCI office building. The inauguration ceremony is scheduled for 11:00 AM on September 20, with Mr. Adilur Rahman Khan, Honorable Adviser to the Ministry of Industries, attending as the chief guest. The closing ceremony will take place at 3:00 PM on September 21. BCI has extended a warm invitation to all stakeholders and industry enthusiasts to attend and participate in this landmark event.
