Janata Bank achieves milestone of 1.25 lakh crore taka deposits

State-owned Janata Bank PLC’s deposits have crossed 1.25 lakh crore taka. On Tuesday, September 9, the bank’s Chairman Muh. Fazlur Rahman and Managing Director Md. Mujibur Rahman celebrated this achievement by cutting a cake at the bank’s head office along with senior executives and officers. Deputy Managing Directors of the bank Md. Golam Mortuza, Md. Fayez Alam, Md. Nazrul Islam and Md. Ashraful Alam, along with the general managers and deputy general managers of the head office, were present. In addition, the general managers of the divisional offices, deputy general managers of the area offices, and executives and managers of all branches were connected on the online platform.
The bank’s Chairman Muh. Fazlur Rahman expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the trust and support of the customers towards Janata Bank even during the difficult times in the country’s financial sector. At that time, the bank’s Managing Director Md. Mujibur Rahman said, “As a result of the dedicated efforts and continuous hard work of all the officers and employees, Janata Bank has reached this desired milestone.”
