As per the source, on Sunday (August 31), the DSE’s main index, ‘DSEX’, rose by 76.44 points. The current level of the index stands at 5,594 points.
Furthermore, the DSE’s other index, ‘DSES’, experienced an increase of 20.50 points, reaching 1,227 points, while the ‘DS-30′ index climbed by 36.73 points to settle at 2,193 points.
Today, shares and units valued at Tk 1,296.43 crore were traded on the DSE. In comparison, the previous working day recorded transactions worth Tk 1,132.31 crore.
A total of 398 companies’ shares and units were exchanged on the DSE today. Among the companies involved in the transactions, the prices of 201 companies saw an increase, while 141 companies experienced a decrease in their prices. Additionally, the prices of shares and units for 56 companies remained unchanged. unchanged.
