DSE Sees Weekly Drop in PE Ratio

The PE ratio experienced a decline in the past week on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).

The overall price-earnings ratio (PE ratio) on the country’s primary stock market, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), saw a decrease during the week ending August 14. Specifically, the PE ratio fell by 2 percent during this timeframe.

This data was disclosed in the DSE’s weekly market analysis.

As per the report, the PE ratio of DSE was recorded at 10.41 points at the start of the week. By the week’s conclusion, the PE ratio had dropped to 10.23 points. Consequently, the PE ratio of DSE declined by 0.18 points, equating to a 2 percent decrease over the week.
