On the occasion of celebrating the ‘July Revolution’ and ‘Youth Festival 2025’ tree plantation program was inaugurated at a time over the country with the Govt. Commercial Banks, Specialized Banks and Financial Institutions under the Financial Institutions Division at Bangladesh Krishi Bank’s Staff College, Mirpur on 6^th August 2025. Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, the Honorable Economic Adviser and the Adviser (in charge) of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh was present in the event as Chief Guest. The Chief Guest said that Bangladesh Krishi Bank had been implementing government policies by disbursing low interest loans under the cost of funds in most sectors and playing an important role in achieving food self-sufficiency for the country. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bangladesh Krishi Bank Dr. Mohammad Zahid Hossain presided over the event. The Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division under the Ministry of Finance Nazma Mobarek was present as Special Guest. She said in her speech that Bangladesh Krishi Bank had been playing a significant role by developing the agriculture sector and implementing government policies with 1038 branches. The Managing Director of Bangladesh Krishi Bank Sanchia Binte Ali, Directors of the Board Dr. M. Sayedur Rahman & Maksuma Akter Banu, Deputy Managing Directors Md. Abdur Rahim & Mohd. Khaleduzzaman, all General Managers and concerned Deputy General Managers of the Head Office, President and General Secretary of the Bangladesh Krishi Bank Employees Union (CBA), along with officers & staff were present on the occasion. All the offices and branches of BKB were also connected virtually on the occasion & took part in the tree plantation program.
