A Based Panchagarh Correspondent: 36 July/2024 mass uprising in Panchagarh has been commemorated with the respect it deserves.
On Tuesday morning, August 5, the district administration took the initiative to hold a mass uprising at the Sher-E-Bengali Park Front in Panchagarh District City. This event was held in memory of the July Martyrs, with a monument currently under construction. Wreaths were laid by District Administrator Md. Sabet Ali and Police Super Md. Mizanur Rahman Munshi. Following this, various political team leaders, activists, and individuals from different professions, including the central BNP Rural Development Affairs Editor and Panchagarh District BNP Member Secretary Farhad Hossain Azad, gathered at the monument to pay their respects. The attendees participated in a mass uprising to honor the July Martyrs, praying for peace and the recovery of the sick and injured warriors of July.
In conjunction with the 36 July/24 observance, the upazila administration organized separate discussions and prayers at the Tentulia Hall. Officials from various upazila departments, political leaders, anti-discrimination movement students, and media personnel were in attendance.
Additionally, a discussion meeting is scheduled for July 36/24 in the Deputy Commissioner’s conference room, along with another discussion at the Panchagarh Stadium ground. Throughout the day, a football tournament will take place, culminating in a concert in the evening.
