No More Innocent Lives Lost in Plane Crashes—Mir Sarfat Ali Sapu

Munshiganj (West) Correspondent:  BNP Central Executive Committee Volunteer Affairs Secretary Mir Sarfat Ali Sapu questioned whether the frequent plane crashes in Bangladesh since 1976 are the result of carelessness, incompetence, or recklessness, saying he implores the government’s decision-makers to ensure that no more innocent lives are lost in this manner. At 11 a.m. on Friday, July 25.

following a Milad and Doa Mahfil at Munshiganj’s Chhonbari under-area of Srinagar Upazila, he delivered these remarks. Teachers and students were among those killed in the recent crash of Uttara Milestone School and College’s training fighter plane. The purpose of this Doa Mahfil was to offer prayers for the souls of those who perished in this terrible event to be forgiven and for the recovery of the injured.

“A specific gang is trying to fish in difficult waters about the elections,” Mir Sarfat Ali Sapu, the principal guest, added in his remarks. Elections that are fair, timely, and inclusive will solve even the nation’s small issues.

Those in attendance included local leaders and activists, members of the public, members of the media, BNP Leader Nuruzzaman Sikder, Srinagar Union Parishad Chairman Tajul Islam, Munshiganj District Women and Children Rights Forum Organizing Secretary Mahmud Hasan Fahad, and Munshiganj District BNP Conveners Awlad Hossain Ujjal and Jasim Mollah.
