Imran Jhenaidah correspondent: Awards and certificates were distributed to 40 meritorious students who passed the SSC and HSC examinations in the 2022-23 academic year under the SEDP project.

Upazila Executive Officer Snigdha Das was the chief guest at the award distribution ceremony held at the Shailkupa Upazila Parishad auditorium on Wednesday afternoon.

Shailkupa Government Degree College Principal Professor Dr. Bidhan Chandra Biswas, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Baki Billah were the special guests. District Education Officer Md. Lutfar Rahman presided over the program.

The event was organized by Shailkupa Upazila Secondary Education Office and Jhenaidah District Education Office with the overall support of the Performance Based for Secondary Institutions Scheme (SEDP) project of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education under the Ministry of Education.

Certificates and awards were distributed to a total of 40 meritorious students from Shailkupa, 20 of whom passed the SSC examination and 20 of whom passed the HSC examination.

The students were overjoyed after receiving their awards and certificates.

Earlier, condolences were expressed for the deaths in the plane crash at Uttara Milestone School and College.
