AB Bank PLC. and Akij Takaful Life Insurance PLC. signed an agreement under which AB Bank explored a new horizon in Islamic DPS by introducing free insurance coverage up to Tk. 50.00 lac for the first time for Islamic depositors. Mr. Samsun Arifin, Head of Islamic Banking Division, AB Bank PLC., and Mr. Mohammad Masuduzzaman Khan, DMD and Chief Corporate Officer Financial Officer, Akij Takaful Life Insurance PLC. signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Mr. Mohammad Sazzadul Karim, Chief Executive Officer of Akij Takaful Life Insurance PLC., Mr. Fardaus Ahmed, Head of General Banking Division, Mr. Taufiq Hassan and Head of Retail Banking Division along with other officials of both organizations were also present on the occasion.
