Al-Arafah Islami Bank’s Women entrepreneur Rozi Ahmed received Award at the SME Women Entrepreneurs Fair organized by Bangladesh Bank. At the closing ceremony of the four-day event titled “Banker–SME Women Entrepreneurs Assembly, Product Exhibition and Fair 2025” held at Bangla Academy on May 11, Sunday. Bangladesh Bank Deputy Governor Nurun Nahar presented the crest and financial award to Rozi Ahmed. Managing Director (current charge) of the Bank Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan was present at the time.
Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank Md. Khasru Parvez, Director Naushad Mostafa, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Md. Fazlur Rahman Chowdhury, Executive Vice President AKM Amzad Hossain, Senior Assistant Vice President SK Asadul Haque and other senior officials were also present at the event.
The name of the company of Rozi Ahmed an entrepreneur of Al-Arafah Islami Bank’s Bagerhat branch is “Ms. Organic Products”. Her company produces 13 different items including bird nests, cat houses, soft toys, and pet toys using coco fiber, fabric, and cotton. The products are being exported to various European countries including Germany, Greece, and Belgium.
