Jamuna Bank and Bangladesh Bridge Authority Sign an Agreement

As part of the implementation of a modern, transparent, time-efficient, and technology-driven toll collection system on the Padma Bridge, an agreement has been signed between Jamuna Bank PLC and the Bangladesh Bridge Authority (BBA). Under this agreement, both parties will work jointly to introduce an Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) system on the Padma Bridge.

The agreement was signed by Khandaker Nurul Haque, Director (Finance & Accounts) and Joint Secretary, on behalf of the Bangladesh Bridge Authority, and by Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director and CEO of Jamuna Bank PLC.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Mohammad Abdur Rouf, Secretary of the Bridge Division and Executive Director of the Bangladesh Bridge Authority, as the Chief Guest. Senior officials from the Bridge Division and BBA were also present, along with A.K.M. Atikur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director of Jamuna Bank PLC, Md. Mehedi Hasan, Head of Treasury, and other senior executives of the bank.
