On the last working day of the week, the country’s main stock market, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), is trading in an upward trend. The share prices of 210 companies increased in the first two hours of trading today.
This information was revealed by Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) sources.
According to the source, the main index of the DSE or ‘DSEX’ rose by 17 points to 5,214 points after two hours of trading on Thursday (March 06), i.e. until 12 noon.
Along with the main index, the Shariah index or ‘DSES’ rose by 4 points and the ‘DS-30’ index rose by 2 points to 1,162 and 1,892 points respectively.
A total of 159.47 crore taka of shares and units were traded on the DSE during the period in question.
Of the companies traded during this time, the prices of 210 increased, 96 decreased and the share prices of 84 companies remained unchanged.
