Shahjalal Islami Bank Organized a Discussion Session

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Organized Discussion Session on SMEs, Agriculture, Retail and Credit Card Solutions at it’s Training Academy Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC organized discussion session on SMEs, Agriculture, Retail and Credit Card Solutions at it’s Training Academy with the support of the Agent Banking Division on 23 February 2025 attended by approximately 100 agents. The event aimed to advance financial inclusion for underserved populations and leverage development opportunities to foster an employment-oriented, industry-driven economy. As part of the bank’s ongoing initiatives, the session focused on ensuring accessible financing opportunities for potential entrepreneurs under favorable terms, alongside promoting financial literacy in SME, agriculture, retail, and credit card-related services. The Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Mr. M. M. Saiful Islam was present as chief guest in the program. In the program the Head of Internal Control & Compliance Division Mr. Mohammed Ashfaqul Hoque, FCA, FCS, the Head of the SME & Agriculture Investment Department Mr. Md. Abdur Rahim, the Head of the IT Division & Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Mrs. Khandker Bedoura Mahbub, the Head of Retail Investment Mr. S. M. Mahiuddin and the motivational speaker Mr. Asif Iqbal were also present as special guests. The session was moderated by Mr. Md. Masudur Rahman, the Head (Current Charge) of the Agent Banking Division.
