The price of LP gas for the month of February this year will be fixed on Sunday (February 2). Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) informed this information in a circular on Thursday (30 January).
It is said that according to the Saudi CP for the month of February announced by Saudi Aramco, the instructions of the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission will be announced at 3 pm on Sunday regarding the price adjustment of private LPG at the consumer level for this month.
Earlier, LPG prices for the current month (January) were kept unchanged. However, on January 14 last year, the price of a 12 kg cylinder was increased by Tk 4 to Tk 1459 for this month.
It should be noted that in 2024, the prices of LPG and Autogas decreased by four points and increased by seven points. This clause was unchanged. LPG and Autogas prices were hiked in January, February, March, July, August, September and October last year. And the price decreased in April, May, June and November. However, the price remained unchanged in December.
